Lots of POV creeping into this page. The idea that 'the Communists' (There was no Communist Party in Germany at this time) were 'pushing for workers revolution' is pure fantasy I'm afraid. The Workers themselve were on the streets - in their hundreds of thousands. Ebert had precisely no power without the Army - hence the pact. Trotboy 09:10, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
