Inner Banks is a relatively new term

[edit]

More of a marketing strategy to ride the "outer banks" term. Eastern NC refers to every county east of I-95. their are five subregions though: southeasten NC, crystal coast, inner banks, outer banks, and northeastern NC.

Yea. There needs to be some organization with this. Northeastern NC/Albermarle Region was previously merged into the Inner Banks article as a section. I see this article being a better place for it. This would be a good article to preface the sections. That is why I placed the merge with tags.--Triadian 22:11, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No of Counties

[edit]

I count only 37 counties on the list. What is missing?
