Confusion?

[edit]

This is the last entry in a table in the Genesee & Wyoming Inc. article, but I strongly suspect that the link, through a redirect, is incorrect. I do not have time today to resolve this, so I am posting here with the hope that some other editor may know how to correct the situation.--DThomsen8 (talk) 16:05, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Company Acquired from Date[1] Notes
Penn Eastern Rail Lines Emons 2002[2] Sold 2002[3]

I think it looks fine, since this company is the successor of the one that was owned by G&W, and since there isn't an article on that particular one, this article seems like a logical place for the redirect to end up. C628 (talk) 16:25, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This article says nothing about Genesee & Wyoming Inc.. If it is related to this article, it should be mentioned in the text. I am guessing that the STB documents provide this kind of information, but I do not have time to check it out now. --DThomsen8 (talk) 23:18, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hatnote.

[edit]

The hatnote says "For the Reading Company predecessor, see East Pennsylvania Railroad." However, there does not seem to be an East Pennsylvania Railroad article. What is the point of having the hatnote? Perhaps I am missing something, though. --DThomsen8 (talk) 21:29, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
