I Am Contesting the Deletion of This Wiki
[edit]- This wiki is not intended for self promotion or blatant advertising. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BSG2420 (talk • contribs) 18:23, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
re: promotion or advertising on this page
[edit]There is and should be nothing for sale or promoted on this page. For a nearly identically formatted page by another photographer, Edward Westin, see http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Edward_Weston ... or browse other photographer/painter sites. User BSG2420 was linking a commercial gallery to this page earlier; all commercial links will be removed in next edit. Jeremybigalke (talk) 22:49, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on E. O. Hoppé. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20070815222323/http://www.billjayonphotography.com/EmilOttoHoppe.pdf to http://www.billjayonphotography.com/EmilOttoHoppe.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Quote?
[edit]To say that someone has a "household name" has become a cliché, yet in Hoppé's case the phrase is apt. Rarely in the history of the medium has a photographer been so famous in his own lifetime among the general public. He was as famous as his sitters. It is difficult to think of a prominent name in the fields of politics, art, literature, and the theatre who did not pose for his camera."
- This appears to be a quote, but there is no indication of where the quote begins. Valetude (talk) 13:17, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
