Is a chief judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia notable by default? What little I find confirms the article but sources are scarce. I would like input before acting on the notability tag. Thanks! --Stormbay21:45, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I also tried to find sources and failed. I am not ware that chief judges like him are notable by default. Also, from what should an article be written without him being covered in secondary sources? He has a scholarship named after him, but that does not qualify for inclusion (see Fn. 3 in WP:BIO). --B. Wolterding15:43, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The article was prodded and declined in March so it seems like an Afd or accept as fringe notable and hope someone else can produce sources. My opinion is that it is non notable but I would expect serious opposition at Afd. --Stormbay22:24, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
