Due West of What?
[edit]I think it would be great if this article included the reason for this town's unique name. I am going to see if anyone knows it but anyone who wants to tell us please do. 65.79.173.135 (talk) 18:44, 7 May 2014 (UTC)Will in New Haven65.79.173.135 (talk) 18:44, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Population
[edit]Why did its population grow 74 percent in the 1940s? FloridaArmy (talk) 11:03, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- I don't have a certain answer, but I'd bet it has something to do with how the census counts college students. The census today includes anyone living in the city, even temporarily, so there are around 400-500 students included in the current population. I'd bet that wasn't how they counted till the 50s. glman (talk) 15:11, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
