[edit]Berardi never won the "Serie A Young Player of the year" award because it was was discontinued since 2010, he won the "Leader Under 21" award, and it's not the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.25.24.26 (talk) 10:23, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

Loan from Juventus between 2013 and 2015
[edit]On 2 September 2013, Juventus announced that they had "finalized with Sassuolo Calcio an agreement for the free temporary disposal of the registration rights of the player until 30 June 2014" (one-year loan). He was re-loaned for another year in 2014 ([1]). In 2015, Sassuolo bought Berardi outright, on a permanent basis ([2]).
The infobox should reflect his two-year loan period from Juventus to Sassuolo between 2013 and 2015. Nehme1499 16:05, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
- Sure, go ahead and edit this. Paul Vaurie (talk) 19:31, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

- @GiantSnowman: Anything to add? Paul Vaurie (talk) 19:41, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
- It's not that simple. We need consensus on how to display the (frankly bizarre) Italian co-ownership/loan/transfer system. GiantSnowman 21:17, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
- Reliable sources, including the player's agent, describe the 2013-2015 period as being a loan from Juventus to Sassuolo. Yes, co-ownership is a factor here, but it's more accurate to display the 13-15 period as being on loan from Juventus, rather than not. Nehme1499 00:43, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- In which case, fine, as long as stats, infobox, career stats, categories etc. are all consistent. GiantSnowman 07:45, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- I disagree with this messy way of displaying the player's stats. For example the Italian languages page for Berardi does not display the loan in this way - nor do other similar pages with complicated loans or historic co-ownership. The purchase by Juventus can of course be covered in the article - but he was never once involved in a Juventus squad or training session. Ponsaelius 15:04, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Ponsaelius: it.wiki displays loans in the infobox in a different manner. See Douglas Costa for example: they list his Juventus years under one spell, despite having been on loan between 2017 and 2018. Him not being involved in a Juventus training session is not relevant; there are dozens of players who have been purchased by Juventus and sent on countless loans, without featuring ever for the club: we would still display Juventus in the infobox (Nicolò Rovella is an example).
