Die 1999 eröffnete Dokumentation Obersalzberg arbeitet die Geschichte des Obersalzbergs mit dem Schwerpunkt auf der NS-Zeit und die Auswirkungen der NS-Politik auf Deutschland und die Welt auf. Es steht auf den Grundmauern des früheren Gästehauses. Aussteller ist, im Auftrag des Freistaates Bayern, das Institut für Zeitgeschichte in München. I deleted opening hours and admittance fees as inappropriate for an encyclopedia. There is a link to the homepage which has all of that info. Most if not all of the content I added can be referenced to the official website of the Dokumentation Obersalzberg, although purists might argue that this is not a neutral source. When it comes to the plain facts it should be pretty accurate, though. If anyone thinks additional inline citations are required, I will try to add them.
