Unrelated game called "Legendary Warriors" linking here
[edit]And why, exactly, does a link for a game called Legendary Warriors in the Giovanni Giustiniani article link here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.175.233.76 (talk) 03:29, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Ditto. I came to this page from a link on Stephen III of Moldavia's page. Someone needs to correct this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.237.154.130 (talk) 19:11, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- What is this "Legendary Warriors" game anyway? It's not cited whatsoever, and I can't find any information on it except for on Wikipedia. If someone can give me additional information on it, I'd be glad to make a disambiguation page, but I can't make one if I don't even know what the thing that's causing the conflict is. If it's just original research, please remove it from the article that you came from. Unless you (or someone else) would like to track down and correct all references made to this game. Do these Digimon exist?
[edit]I think this might be a fanfic, but I'm not sure, I was hoping someone familiar with this series could tell me. I'm trying to find all instances of Zanbatou and there's this digmon called Zanbatoumon but I don't think he's real (unlike Zanbamon, who I've added). Here are the references: PictureStory1 Story2. Tyciol 05:35, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- Even if he's real, it doesn't sound like he's mentionable.. it's best not to start an article on a 'mon no one cares about. -- Ned Scott 07:45, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree. While I do feel he's just a fanfic char, if he were real, the detail in that pic (with stats and special moves) does show care and a good article could be made from it, were it real. His sword is too small to be a Zanbatou though. Tyciol 08:34, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- wikipedia is not our own fansite, see WP:NOT -- Ned Scott 08:55, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- He's listed under 'Digimon Frontier'. I was wasking whether or not he was a real character, as I didn't see him listed. Still never really got a direct answer :p It's not like I'm posting fanfics here.... I'm questioning whether or not I should add an article on him. Tyciol 09:07, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- as far as I know, he's not a real 'mon, but I can't say that for sure. I wouldn't make an article yet, but there are no real rules on wikipedia. In fact, there are times where you are encoraged to ignore all rules. if it were me I'd collect some more info before starting an article, as this just adds to the growing list of digi-stubs to deal with. -- Ned Scott 09:23, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Generally fanfic chars aren't enough reason to make an article, so I won't, but if it ever turns out real, perhaps it can be added to Zanbato-like guys later through here. Tyciol 06:03, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Disney's One Too
[edit]About "Disney's One Too" template and category, is this apart of the current line up? I'd hate to clutter the page with another nav template, but if it is still apart of the current line up for Disney then I guess it shouldn't be too much of a problem. However, I'm not sure if such a "channel lineup" nav template should even be in use on Wikipedia, unless the show itself is greatly associated with such a line up. -- Ned Scott 21:59, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
dub song
[edit]The english dub theme song was not in that episode. I just watched the entire episode, and it wasnt there --Dark Lord Revan 05:16, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Zoe's parents
[edit]Zoe's parents are revealed to be Akito Orimoto (father) and Ikino Orimoto (mother). Since Zoe is part-Italian, part-Japanese (somewhat similar to the case in which Matt and T.K. are part-Japanese), Akito is Japanese, while Ikino is Italian.

Frontier CD Drama
[edit]There's a frontier CD drama that I have heard of and I think that it should have it's own section too. I would make it, but I have no idea what it's about or what happens in it. I have been desperately trying to find out about it (in English) but, sadly, I have had no luck. If anyone knows about it, please say so. It would mean a lot to me. (I'm a Takumi fan, so I guess I want to see if that goes on in the CD drama. ^_^ ♥) KazeGirl737 06:38, 6 August 2007
- There is one, but I've only recently found out, not much info at the moment though, it's being translated. Trainra 05:21, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Really? Where is it being translated? KazeGirl737 07:54, 11 August 2007
- [1] Stuff isn't usually posted till it is finished though. Trainra 10:27, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
That's o.k., Thanks! KazeGirl737 10:08, 13 August 2007
Oh, wait! I just found the titles of the drama cd's tracks! They are:
Takuya no kazoku e no tegami / Takuya
Izumi no love letter / Izumi or Zoe
Izumi o Nerae! Kyuukyoku no sakusen! / Junpei or J.P.
Niichan e / Tomoki or Tommy
Kouji kara Kouichi e / Kouji
Kouichi kara Kouji e / Kouichi
I don't know what any of them mean though. If someone could translate that would be great! (I know I'm REALLY impatient. Sorry. :( .............) KazeGirl737 10:24, 13 August 2007
EDIT: the other peoples never heard of Zoey's parent but I think they were alive but Rika's father dies in Digimon Tamers. -Ricey —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.72.251.161 (talk) 08:49, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Is this about the Zoe's parents issue? First, this is the wrong heading to discuss this under—this should be under the "Zoe's parents" section. Secondly, Zoe and Rika have nothing to do with each other—there is no continuity between Tamers and Frontier. So Rika and her parents are irrelevant in this case. Digimon frontier's Birthdays!
[edit]How did whomever posted those character's b-day's get them? (This is for all the frontier kids pages, so I decided to post it here) Zoe's page says that "Zoe believes that her birthday is in May 26, but her real birthday in on September 27" I mean, that could be true, but it's just weird. It also says that Kouji is born in March 10, and Koichi in Feburary 9. They're twins, they should be born on the same day, (or their mother was in a GREAT deal of pain, 0.0) Someone please correct this =D~~7:45 5 October 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.134.27.148 (talk) 23:45, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
J.P.'s Voice Actor
[edit]According to other articles and the ID3-Tags of my Digimon Music, the Japanese voice actor of J.P. is Mahito Amada and not Masato Amada. I've edited this and I hope it is right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.134.240.176 (talk) 19:49, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- While the kanji for that part of the name is usually read "hito" (the word for person), I looked in the liner notes for the Digimon Frontier: Best Hit Parade CD, and the furigana above his name says "Masato", so I've edited this to reflect that. I've seen "Mahito" in some other transliterations, and it's not really a clear cut thing (apparently it's not that common of a name, and you can't really tell if it's Masato or Mahito from just the kanji itself). But the only official clarification I've seen so far says "Masato," so I think it's best to stick with that for now. Immortal Wowbagger (talk) 01:41, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Sorcer(y)mon
[edit]While Sorcermon was probably referred to as Sorcerymon in the previous seasons (although I don't know if he had even appeared in the TV series until Frontier), Sensation Animation (Disney's rechristening of Saban Entertainment) decided to keep Sorcermon's original Japanese name in Frontier. If you watch episode 13 of the U.S. English dubbed version, you can clearly hear him being referred to as "Sorcermon", not Sorcerymon. Even Chris McFeely, who has personally talked with the producers of the English dub on several occasions, refers to him as Sorcermon. [2]
However, it is true that toys, cards, and other merchandise do continue to refer to him Sorcerymon. This is because Digimon merchandise in the U.S. is produced by Bandai of America, who were notorious for making their own changes regardless of what Sensation did, as evidenced by their changing of Cherubimon to Kerpymon, Arbormon to Arbomon, Ranamon to Lanamon, etc. etc. However, the names used in this article should reflect the ones used in the TV show, not the ones used in Digimon merchandise. Immortal Wowbagger (talk) 22:16, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Never mind, I realize that I was mistaken. Sorcermon is Sorcerymon in the Japanese version. Apologies. Immortal Wowbagger (talk) 03:26, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
Frontier CD Drama Track - Translations
[edit]I think the drama tracks should be added to the "Themes Song" section. If this is not done due to lack of translation of titles, I give one:
- Takuya no kazoku e no tegami / Takuya (Letter to Takuya's Family)
- Izumi no love letter / Izumi or Zoe (Izumi's Love Letter)
- Izumi o Nerae! Kyuukyoku no sakusen! / Junpei or J.P. (Aim to Izumi! Final Strategy!)
- Niichan e / Tomoki or Tommy (To my older brother)
- Kouji kara Kouichi e / Kouji (From Kouji to Kouichi)
- Kouichi kara Kouji e / Kouichi (From Kouichi to Kouji)
I hope this translations can be used to extend this article. Also I do this because I see the request of KazeGirl737

Context
[edit]Hi, Knowledgekid87. I saw you were the one who tagged the article for not being accessible for people not familiar with the series ([3] [4]). I did a little cleanup ([5] well, very minor compared to what this page needs), and I'd like to ask if you think it's okay now to remove it. If not, what else is jargon we need to explain? Thanks, Gabriel Yuji (talk) 21:40, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Requesting section on Reception
[edit]This page needs to address reception of the show too. It has to be a section. 103.210.40.230 (talk) 23:28, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
