Duplication Danger

[edit]

Having just created this page I find that there already exists one for Devorguilla Balliol.

I am confident that the spelling I have used is rather better accepted, and is certainly the one in currency in the archives of Balliol College, Oxford, and in Sweetheart Abbey's literature for example. Also, the use of her husband's name as suffix to her own in this way is an anachronism.

I submit that my page is better!

The history of this article has been merged with Devorguilla Balliol, and is located at that article title. Do not construe that as acceptance that that is the correct spelling, it is merely an effort to keep all edits about the same topic together at the same title. If this is a more appropriate spelling, then that article can be moved here with its (now merged) article history. - Mark 02:51, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
