QPQ: - Not yet completed Overall: Just waiting on the QPQ. Everything else is good. The lead doesn't require a citation per MOS:CITELEAD as I don't believe any part of it is likely to be challenged. Also the hook is very interesting. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls?08:15, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
QPQ is good. I’m sorry I just noticed this, but did he already sell the team? Because the lead states that he’s a former owner, but I don’t think he’s sold the team yet. Citation in the lead might be necessary after all. Sorry, I wish I noticed the first time. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls?16:33, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I just fixed a couple of misstatements in the article. a) it suggesting that facts of six years ago were current facts (actually, while I clarified that those were not current facts, the current facts are far different and could of course be updated - holding for example are 3x what the article indicated were current holdings). b) it suggesting that facts that may happen were current facts. While the subject is interesting, the level of sloppiness suggests that someone really should check the statements in the article against the refs, before it becomes a DYK (I would but don't have the time right now), as it was not carefully written with an eye towards accuracy. 2604:2000:E010:1100:BD94:82CD:C5DB:7B71 (talk) 18:59, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There were multiple such sloppy errors, and that As of template did not address a number of them -- even in that sentence, where "current" language was used. And then there was this incorrect title. Just on its face, a poorly written article when it came to accuracy, and someone really has to check that the text properly reflects the refs before this becomes a DYK, to catch any other such mistakes. 2604:2000:E010:1100:BD94:82CD:C5DB:7B71 (talk) 00:36, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yoninah, Since you accepted my review of this DYK as a sufficient QPQ and since you are experienced in DYK stuff, could you take a look at my review? I hope my inexperience hasn't caused too much trouble. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls?05:47, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Why does the lead currently say he "was formerly the owner of Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer and other associated soccer teams" (boldface added), when nowhere in the article is it stated that he has sold the teams? The heading "end of ownership" also appears misleading at best, given that the text in the section only states that "MLS and NWSL announced that Hansen would explore selling ..." (italics added), and not that he actually has sold any teams. – SJ Morg (talk) 08:50, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
