Addition of Information - Wilson Mill Dam

[edit]

I'd like to add a brief mention of the Wilson Mill Dam to this page; being that it's the only dam on the creek (and that it has a well-function baffle fish ladder), I think it merits note. I intend to cite Maryland's DNR website, and include a internal redirect link to the Wiki page about fish ladders. No dramatic changes, just the addition of an extra little related tidbit. Any objections? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnarigdon (talkcontribs) 12:36, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dams

[edit]

Eden Mill has a dam still standing which is much larger than the Wilson's Mill dam. https://en.m.wiki.x.io/wiki/Eden_Mill_Nature_Center. There is also the remains of a dam below MD 136. I am not aware of any other dams remaining on Deer Creek but there were many mills along it at one time. Ksumwalt (talk) 11:31, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
