collaborting with people who use 'edit summary' and are not anonymous is more fun. inclination to include large chunks of testimony and trial's transcript do not seem suited to a "living person" bio. Perhaps someone should create a seperate entry dedicated to the trial/case and media attention? Billlynee 16:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed some unsourced content which seemed to be an editor's opinion on Dave Wedge's character and comments about the paper for which he works. I basically revised the article back to its state before a series of IP edits. I also moved a block of sourced information into the body of the article. Then I removed some of the very broad categories this article had been tagged with. I am not sure if I made the right call on the categories, but it seems a bit weird that in the history of journalism, Dave Wedge is the only journalist who was sued who deserves to be in the "journalism ethics" category. It seems very OTT and it may be the case that some of the editors might be involved in the law suit/know the litigants. It didn't seem to be very NPOV.

Which brings me to the crazy amount of information on this case in this article. If the case was that significant to case law or if it was a major story, shouldn't it get its own page? I am not a very regular editor so I am not sure if I am right on this. It just seems very odd and out of place for a biography. --Moggsy (talk) 11:47, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
