You Can't Be True, Dear
[edit]Although I have seen places (including the Songwriters' Hall of Fame site) that say that Dreyer wrote "You Can't Be True, Dear," he is not listed among the writers in anything I've seen: the writers are given as "Original lyrics by Gerhard Ebeler, English lyrics by Hal Cotton, Music by Hans Otten, Adaptation by Ken Griffin" in most sites I have seen. In particular, it would seem from [1] that Dreyer produced the Ken Griffin recording, but did not write the song. -- BRG (talk) 23:21, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
