Daniel plays no role in Islam
[edit]Daniel plays absolutely no role whatsoever in islam. This article was created by a sockpuppet and banned user. Daniel is certainly not a prophet in Islam. Daniel is not mentioned in the Quran once. He is not mentioned in the sahih hadiths once. He is not even mentioned in any major hadith collections. The so-called hadith quoted is not a hadith, which is why he did not provide any citation. The primary editor of this article admits it seems a hoax [1] and has not objected to a deletion. Unfortunately someone has opposed the deletion. The 1 person who opposed the deletion turns out to be a banned user; User:Dnkrumah. I would like my proposal to be reviewed and handled please. Someone65 (talk) 14:16, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- They were banned for other reasons and nothing to do with this page. You will still need to go through Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Enter CBW, waits for audience applause, not a sausage. 17:44, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Daniel and Susanna
[edit]FWIW, Daniel is mentioned in the hadith - and (contrary to what is stated in the article) the story of Susanna and the Elders is covered - see http://www.al-islam.org/hayat-al-qulub-vol-1-allamah-muhammad-baqir-al-majlisi/account-irmiya-jeremiah-daniel-and-uzair 86.144.118.120 (talk) 22:21, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
This page is very misleading and do so by with-holding well-known information.
Daniel is not mentioned in the Quran nor in any Hadith accepted in Islam. The sources of information of Daniel is from Ahl-Kitab, which translates as People of the book, here it is the israelite sources.
In Islam such stories that are found from people of the books that are not affirmed or denied in the Quran is neither to be affirmed or denied by muslims. It has no basis in Islam or relevance except as a point of interestDruss2015 (talk) 00:48, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
