Daleks Flying?

In the episode 'Parting of the Ways', the Daleks leave their spaceship by flying! dose the old series say anything about flying? No. They can elevate but NOT FLY!!!

Easily explained by the fact that an undetermined period of time between Remembrance of the Daleks and said episode. Of course, you can then turn to the plethora of expanded universe books, dramas, and other stories for an explanation, though this can induce migraine with the staggering amount of confusion trying to fathom it all can cause. Your best explanation is the one you can make up in your own head. I personally like to think that since a Dalek is already a little battle machine, all it needs is flight and it's essentially a tiny spaceship. What has any of this got to do with the article? This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Dalek Empire article. It is not a forum for general discussion about Daleks or their fictional abilities. There are plenty of other place around the internet for that. Images

I removed Image:Dalekinvasionfleet.jpg from the top because the fair use rationale was weak/nonexistant. However, I think both Image:Dalekemperor.jpg and Image:Emperordalek.jpg can stay, because they are both discussed within the article text, and could be discussed even more so if the article is expanded :).--Sean Black ^(talk) 23:57, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
