The sourcing appears to be from student newspapers from St.Mary's and blogs/bulletins which are obviously not published from a reputable source. In addition, most of the links going to these sources are down. I have added some new material from an existing reliable source (the NY times source). We must try to find some reliable sources which have the same info regarding his works; I have found some material in some online newspapers, but the material is quite redundant. He is FRSA and that makes him notable. It isn't necessary that links still work, although obviously it would be good if they could be replaced via Wayback etc. Disclosure: I created this, mainly as an aid to discussions elsewhere related to caste articles. I guess that makes me somewhat biassed. - Sitush (talk) 22:39, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, I have been off-line for some time. Good to chat again. What is the best way to resolve the links that are now dead? put a dead-link on them? something else?--CaroleHenson(talk)22:43, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
On a side note, ill try to work on getting more content in the article. Ill also try to find a picture of the subject to use, so that maybe we could put in a bio on the top left.Vagbhata2 (talk) 20:21, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A picture would be great, it would have to be in the public domain or have an appropriate creative commons license - otherwise it's a copyright enfringement. I always look at commons first, because they accept free documents and the images have the licensing info to ensure that they're good to add.--CaroleHenson(talk)21:34, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry but this article is turning into a mess. I've fixed some recent changes but other problems have been introduced in the last day or so. Frankly, it might be easier to revert to the stable version and then reinstate any useful additions to the information that have been found since that. A big part of the problem has been removal of material that was sourced and introduction of material that is clearly phrased in an anachronistic, and even contradictory, manner. - Sitush (talk) 05:05, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The article is fine as it is in the current revision. We have more content regarding his biography, and we also have some more trivia for his personal life. It was mainly some minor problems if you look at the edit history, but it seems to have been fixed. However, lets try to get some more content from good sources.Vagbhata2 (talk) 20:25, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I looked at the sources I provided on the BLP site - and questioned the one that had a lot of info, the student newspaper. I didn't notice that at the time and am not sure if it's considered a Reliable source. It's edited, which I think is in it's favor, but I've never used a student newspaper as a source before. See about the paper, which says it's editorially independent.--CaroleHenson(talk)20:32, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
