Disgraceful
[edit]@sweden is disgraceful, summoning up scary images of Nazi PR efforts in the 1930s. There are most definitely grounds for controversy, but the guardians of this piece aren't going to allow that, are they? Do we believe in and support free speech or not?
Rotation Curation Account list
[edit]The list of rotation curation accounts replicates the list on the Rotation Curation page. Here it seems out of place and creates a maintenance problem. I propose we delete it from this article. Anyone have any views on this? I also noticed that this page was not linked to the Rotation Curation page so I fixed that. Andrew Hennigan (talk) 21:17, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- It would make sense, there's no need to duplicate content on two articles.
- OK. Replaced the list with a link to the list section of the rotation curation page so we have just one list to maintain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewhennigan (talk • contribs) 07:25, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- On an unrelated note, I found this article after reading about a controversy involving this campaign, where the Sweden Twitter account was used to post antisemitic messages[1]. I don't think that source meets reliable source guidelines, so I'm not adding it to the article for now, but I'll just leave that here in case the story gets any broader coverage. - Many sources like The Slate[2] provide the whole sequence of tweets and it seems clear when you read them all that the intent was not antisemitic; I don't see any reliable source making that interpretation. But it would make sense to have some reference to the attention and controversy in general, since these are a key part of this story. The New York Times article[3] must be reliable enough for this. Cannes silver Lion
[edit]This initiative just won a silver lion at the International Festival of Creativity in Cannes. See http://www.canneslions.com/work/2012/pr/entry.cfm?entryid=14315&award=3 I will add this if nobody objects. Andrew Hennigan (talk) 11:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Just added this award and a link to the relevant page. Doing this I noticed that the other awards lack sources. Does anyone have the necessary citations? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewhennigan (talk • contribs) 07:23, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
