Climate data
[edit]Wow. 2°C in the Amazon? That bears repeating. Is our source reliable? Weatherbase is not, as the data even contradicts itself, but even Weatherbase shows us that something very interesting is going on there. The French site is very difficult to navigate, and that is the only reason I'm suspicious of it .... but perhaps I shouldn't be. —Soap— 21:30, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
The Portuguese page, [1], shows record lows that are not quite as outstanding as ours, but are still far out of range of what most other deep-rainforest locations will ever see. It's quite possible that it's real and that the other source just doesnt have as much data. —Soap— 05:24, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
I have confirmed that the shockingly low values are found in the data compiled by the government of Brazil, which means it's verifiably real. —Soap— 00:07, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
