POV (self-promotion)?

Much of this article currently reads like a self-promotion. Statements like "The work of professor Parker has had wide diffusion at an international level, acting as an inspiration for the analyses of Latin American culture and religion by specialists as well as by those interested in the continent's sociocultural and religious evolution." are not appropriate in tone, and require sourcing.
