where are the children used by Jens and Peter Theander
[edit]They were children used by the Theander brothers to be sexually abused in their films, they were born from 1958 to 1969. (People of the generation old Antonio Tano, and he himself is part of all this). We are talking about over a thousand children who are now 50 to 61 years old. Where are they? How can they be contacted? They are victims who should be compensated. Peter Theander is still alive, he must face the justice.
This company
[edit]This company produced a lot of kiddie porn in East Asian contries in the late '70 and '80. This was documented by the danish television channel TV2 in two reports on child pornography. NB. Kiddie porn was not explicitly outlawed in Denmark before 1985 so Color Climax probably did not break the law.
but didnt they violate other laws like age of consent laws in the process? so even if they themselves couldnt be prosecuted couldnt the males or adults in those videos? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.7.51.231 (talk) 08:03, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Is there any reference or article which records or logs this TV2 report/s? I feel this is important since CCC are remaining tight lipped about there role in this history of child porn production. Eg who were the producers? Why did CCC not volunteer their names? Can any sites or article be recommended which takes this aspect forward? Very important. To put this in context section 234 of the Danish Criminal code (1969) states that the distribution/sale of porn to people under 16 years old is prohibited.
But the ban on the production and distribution of child pornography in Denmark didnt exist until section 235 of the Danish Criminal Code (1980). So the picture this paints is that for almost 11 years the Danish establishment allowed Child Pornography to be sold and consumed , even though porn couldnt be sold to under 16's. So Denmark in the 1970's had the scenario of adults watching pre-teen children filmed having sex/being raped with/by adults whilst at the same time this porn couldnt be sold to people under 16!! Anyone want to explain this disturbing fact to me?! There is 11 years of Danish history that hasnt been researched or recorded here. Needs a lot of work.
The age of consent in Denmark is 15 years of age. Thus it has never been legal to produce pornographic material in Denmark using children under the age of 15 as models in adult situations.
This maybe the case but legally CCC still produced child porn with pre teens filmed in other countries and sold it in Denmark with out breaking section 234 of the Danish Criminal Code for almost 11 years. There needs to be some invetigative reporting that elaborates on this. I cant see how almost a decade of Danish history is non -existent? We need references for Danish reports and material. And we also need a reference for the 1985 figure. If the section 235 of the DCC was manifest in 1980 then why was child porn still available until 1985? Again more work needed.
I want to add : ---> A girlfriend of mine worked at CCC in 1985/86. I dont know the danish TV report. But childporn was declared illegal in 1980. It isnt true, that it wasnt outlawed until 1985. At least in DK. It was outlawed in NL as late as 1985/86. I never heard, they produced cp after 1980. It was legal before, because it was a legal loophole. Production of porn under 15 was not allowed, but it wasnt legal also. The produced movie was "legalized", under the "Free press laws". The parents could have issue a legal complaint, ( e.g. child rape ), but they didnt, I assume, because they were paid and/or were the molesters himself. The little child couldnt, of course. All this was a terrible misinterpretation of "liberal porn laws". I have heard from now defunct dutch video dealers, that CCC sold all of the cp movies in late 79 to the Netherlands, the oncoming new laws were also discussed in the press. In NL, it was still legal - it was banned as late as 1985/86. And dutch dealers sold it back via mail to danish "customers".
But I doubt, that CCC produced cp after 80 in other countries. They would have be in serious troubles in DK. It was a taboo theme after 1980. My girlfriend never heard something about this in 1985 and 1986. If she had known, what they did, she wouldnt have performed there. The age of consent was lowered in DK from 16 to 15 in 1973, if I remember correctly. In 1999, you still could get porn with 15. This was the last time I was in DK. You can see the "15" seal on the VHS and older DVDs. Porn production with 15 was legal until 2003, then they had to implement an EU law all european countries have implemented in national law, with the exception of Germany, who will do this in the next months. They still have a 14-year minimum age, only porn under 14 is definied as childporn. ( But they never have produced commercial porn with under 18, because the legal status is unclear or even illegal )
Almost no company worked with 15-17 year olds- excluding CCC, dutch VAH ( with +16 only, because the legal minimum age was 16, after they banned cp in the NL ) and some very small amateur labels.
Because many companys exported to the USA, who already had an 18 age limit. Sweden later followed as the first scandinavian country.
Two points are very seldom reported correctly :
Many other commercial porn companys produced cp then in Europe, esp. in Scandinavia and NL. But all are defunct now or were taken over later by other companys. If I would name one, they would sue me, because they legally hadnt something to do with this. CCC never committed LEGALLY crimes, as far as I know, because it was legal then. As sad as this is. The facts of the mentioned danish TV docu, arent mentioned and verified in the US or dutch specialist press. ( criminalist, sexual research etc. ) And : Video Art Holland never produced cp ! They started with their magazine in 1977. And cp was legal in NL until 1985-1986. But they were strict against cp ( < 16 ) and never produced this. They were totally against this. In some comments, they are accused of cp, thats unfair, because nobody was able to know, that someday the US would force european countrys to raise the minimum age to 18.
WRITTEN Confirmation of many data, regarding the cp production of CCC, is very difficult to get, most "vanished" after the passing of the 1980 laws. Many may fear even now legal prosecution, I doubt that this will ever happen. Police identified and located only very few of the child victims of the old super8 cp.

Deletions
[edit]On 9/21/07 I added content, with a link to a blog, indicating that pursuant to U.S. federal documents, Color Climax was involved in child porongraphy by offering images of Tove Jensen. The content was deleted because the blog was not considered a "reliable source", even though the fed documents are indisputable.
The entire article is noted for lacking verifiable citations, which is curious considering the company's well known history. The article mentions the company's past involvement of child porn distribution, but again no citation.
I provided a link to a blog which has several documents related to a federal child porn prosecution which involved the Tove Jensen loop "Teenage Tricks". The Color Climax article states that Tove Jensen images can currently be found on the Color Climax web site, and the article links to said web site. The Tove Jensen article says that most of her material was produced by Color Climax. If either article is to be considered credible, then surely fed documents must be given some weight as a reliable source.
As I noted in the Tove discussion, it's not unusual for the government to charge adult images as child porn. This may be the case, but it's still a factual part of the Color Climax history.--Nazz 17:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- Once again I'll note the deletions. What remains appears to be a press release for the Color Climax web site, with no relible sources identified. Nazz 18:34, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi
Tiny Tove was born in 1958 and started porn in 1979, as you can see on her official site. Indeed, she does look really young and it's not a surprise if she could have been mistakenly seen as underage. And for what is stated above, I am deeply confused. Even if there was no law for child porn in DK in the 70, even if it was "allowed" to have child (under 15) in porn movie, I can't believe things like that could have been pre-teen filmed being raped by adults. Legal porn or not, a rape is a rape and it's illegal ! Therefore, I don't know what to think about. Moreover, there should have been legal complaints 20 years later, even if it was legal at the times, the victims, once grown-up, would have complained and sure, it would have been reported, on tv, on newspapers... I don't know...
PS : I can see there's already a discussion about Tove on her page, with people knowing much better than me thus, you can ignore what I've just wrote yesterday, thanks.
Gustafson: There is no logic to your claim. The [1] website is irrelevant as the source is an FBI report. It's the report that is the source. If you want third parties there are plenty of them in the report: the examinier, Richard Vorder Bruegge; the department he works for, the FBI; the unit he supervises, The Forensic Audio, Video & Image Analysis unit; the reference file he manages, The Child Exploitation and Obscenity Reference File, just to mention the obvious. These types of reports are not sitting on the FBI's website, they sit in court files. Seems like you're afraid of Color Climax.
Just state that a documented FBI analytical report, with attached CV, is not authority, and then go an undo all the articles that rely on government documents as authority. Nazz 19:37, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi
I am the author of a book on this subject (referenced in the main article0 - Child Pornography: An Investigation. That book (now out of print) included detailed evidence that CCC had commerically produced child pornography for a limited period ending (probably) around 1979. overdubbed?
[edit]Why do some of these movies appear to be dubbed in Dutch over what looks-- at times, when the actors move their lips certain ways-- to be English words?
Why would a Danish company have the actors speaking english and then overdub it in Dutch? -Because most of the models were from England — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.96.113.90 (talk) 11:19, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
I have noticed this in several of the films.Kikodawgzzz (talk) 19:41, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Denmark have always used subtitles, and do not dub movies. That was (and still is) however very Popular in Germany. I am pretty sure the dubbed versions was made for the German market. If you ever visit Denmark, you will still notice that most people speak and understand english, and even children to a certain level. Even childrens movies and cartoons from USA or UK, is often simply subtitles. Announcements in trains and signs may be in English only. However in Germany, it is very normal to translate and dub things, and it can sometime be difficult to find someone who understand English if you're in Germany and among casual people. I have however not seen the films, so I am not sure if it is German, but I am pretty sure they might have done the same thing in the Netherlands (Dutch) --Borg punk (talk) 04:37, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
Theander Brothers The company was founded by the brothers Jens and Peter Theander; see http://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/da/wiki/Peter_Theander Should be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.88.115.132 (talk) 18:06, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Child Pornography Titles
[edit]The child pornography section is definitely needed, but I am not so sure about the very last sentence. Do we need that there? It certainly tested my stomach, but adds little real information over what was covered in the previous few lines. I think that sentence should be removed Wikiditm (talk) 13:35, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

All Color Climax's Child Porn films were made legally
[edit]Some important facts missing from the article:
- Until 1980, Danish law did not ban child porn. Thus the 1970's child porn films of Color Climax were legally made, however repugnant they would be to modern folks.
- They stopped making such films after 1979 when child porn was banned in Denmark.
- The age minimum for being in porn in Denmark after 1980 was, I believe, 15 up until early 2000's and In other nearby countries countries, like the Netherlands, it was 16. Thus, what constitutes child porn today in Denmark is different differs now then from before. This means that some of what Color Climax produced after 1980 did not qualify as child porn in the 1980's/90's nor would it have been viewed as such by Danes at the time since 15-17 yo. wold not have been viewed as children in the context of porn. The pre-1980's porn films that involved prepubescent children still qualify as CP under a general definition even though they were legal in Denmark at the time.

- It could be argued that making cp ilegal has only driven it underground. At least if legal it can be monotored 2001:C38:1000:2521:0:0:0:5 (talk) 08:22, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
