2005 reforms
[edit]Please be awared that since June 2005, the full credit for CET-4 and CET-6 has changed from 100 points to 710 points. Score reports are issued to students who get 220 points and above. Some other changes concerning testing method are under way.
TEM
[edit]The "Professional Band 8" isn't a CETest, it's a TEM. --72.75.63.66 21:31, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Comment
[edit]Someone who doesn't know how Wikipedia works (and we all have to start somewhere) wrote the following at the bottom of the article. I know nothing about the subject, so have removed it here for a future editor to tackle. If you need help, put a note on my talkpage.
- "CET consisted of non-English-specialized band 4 and band 6, and English-specialized band 6 and band 8."
- This sentence has made a small mistake: the test for English-specialized consisted of band "4" and band 8.

enviroment in the past ,the present and the future
[edit]as you know our enviroment is in emergency but have you ever ask yourself that what you have done to make our enviroment so bad or how will our life if the enviroment still terible like that .this is the problem i want to talk to you today.this is the problem of the past, the present and the future. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.68.38.223 (talk) 12:52, 21 March 2009 (UTC) It would be nice if some one can provide a comparision between CET scores with IELTS or TOEFL scores. With this information CET can be used by universities outside China to access the Engllish level of applicants just the same as IELTS and TOEFL. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.206.35.10 (talk) 12:20, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Vocabulary Requirements
[edit]Is there any government source for these requirements? Private companies have listed such, they are focused on selling vocabulary books. However, the studies I have done on the exams points to a much smaller vocabulary list. I have never seen one in Chinese from a government site. TeacherJeff (talk) 09:26, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
