Submitted an WP:RFP for this and Edith Bowman. Lan3y 15:41, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps a trivia section could be added with references to the middle name phone in poll, Big Gay Disco and other such information. Just an idea, because the page is kind of boring, unlike the man himself.

this isn't really the place for their latest feature, to be forgotten in a few weeks. However, a page on The Colin and Edith Show or Colin and Edith could include a 'features' section that could include those things. Robdurbar 08:07, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Name

[edit]

I found that his birth name is Colin Wright from http://www.northernshow.biz/colin_murray.htm , is that true? Eleanor909 06:01, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So he've said that Colin Wright was his name, also Luke(I'm not sure if that's true)...Anyone is going to change it? Eleanor909 09:13, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would prefer to see another source for this, as I'm fairly sure Wright is not his real name. Stu ’Bout ye! 08:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Although a google search returns very few sources, it does return two reputable sources (run by the same company) in Tv.com and MovieTome.com. ChappyTC 22:04, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It was a family joke, Luke Wright (look right). Not a good one lol. Colin was Wright when he was born then changed Murray when he was if I recall about 16. Mrchrismurray (talk) 19:30, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Should it be protected then? Or semi-protected? It has been vandalised before, clearly by listeners of the show. Stu 15:38, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The listeners to the Colin/Edith show are clearly more mature than Scott Mills'... Robdurbar 16:32, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Photo

[edit]

I think we can use the FT logo as Colin's photo,any suggestions? Eleanor909 11:42, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pulled commercial

[edit]

"Recent reports have claimed that the BBC pulled a commercial for Murray's radio show which featured him being released skywards attached to 500 helium balloons, in light of an accident suffered by Top Gear host Richard Hammond, but the BBC have denied these reports, saying that the aforementioned commercial will simply not be shown, and that other commercials had been filmed and will be shown instead."

How exactly is that a denial? 'Simply not showing' a commercial is the same as pulling it, surely? Slovakia (talk) 10:44, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chiles cult hero?!

[edit]

I can honestly say I've never met another human being who thinks ADrian Chiles is a cult hero. 95.147.3.190 (talk) 19:13, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
