Notable Alumni?
[edit]Are "Amir Eldan, cello, Assistant Professor of Cello, Oberlin Conservatory of Music", "Sara Skuster, oboe, Dallas Symphony Orchestra" and "Marcy Chanteaux, cello, Asst. Principal Detroit Symphony Orchestra" notable alumni? I know they're all excellent musicians, but are they notable? Should every alumni who gets a principal or assistant chair in an orchestra be listed as noted as notable? If that's the case then schools such as the Juilliard School, Royal Academy of Music, Moscow Conservatoire or the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna would have hundreds of notable or noted alumni! I suggest that only alumni of the CIM with a Wikipedia article are included as "Notable Alumni". Thank you. --Karljoos (talk) 14:06, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. I just changed the wording back to Notable, as Wiki standards dictate that lists include only notable persons.108.81.226.148 (talk) 01:15, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
