In the article the phrase 'in the hopes of achieving the higher need.' is used.

It is my understanding that Alderfer did not see the needs as a rigid hierarchy as per Maslow, but rather saw any order as pertaining to a particular individual, allowing for people who put fame and fortune above personal relationships.

I do not feel that this is made clear.

I have taken out the sentence "Dismas Nziku says: theories of motivation are too many and therefore should be viewed to see whether are useful or not." as I have no idea who Nziku is, and have no record of him/her in the literature. I therefore assume rightly or wrongly that this is some random personal comment.
