Adding a background and "following the film" section

[edit]

A background section on Snowden could be added so that those who haven't watched the film and are unaware of him could learn more about who he is and his motivations for reaching out to Poitras and others. Another section could be added to explain how the conversation around privacy has changed since the film and what everyone is up to since the film. The articles below are samples of those that could be used to start building these sections.

Jessica's Peer Review

[edit]

After watching this movie, I came back to the article to see if there are any areas where I would recommend changes/adjustments. Overall the article does have a clear concise structure and a strong introduction. The citation links are working and reference reliable sources. The section that references Time magazine could be expanded more and provide a more neutral tone. Section where the award nominations are included could have more live links to help point to additional information. I don't think that the article sounds redundant or repetitive. Good work. Peer Review edits

[edit]

Outline of edits to following sections of the article:

"Synopsis" edits:

1) I suggest mentioning in this section that Citizenfour is a part of a trilogy and include the names and links to the other movies. The article mentions this, but it is at the end.

2) change "the stranger" to "citizenfour"

3) include the fact that Snowden was stranded in the Moscow airport for 40 days

"Background on Snowden" edits:

1) I would like to add some sources on where Ed Snowden is today, since the current article only discusses his whereabouts until 2018. Additional sources on where Edward Snowden is now

"Productions"

1)Update movie ratings and reviews to reflect current numbers

"Security" edits:

1) change the title - security is not clear that it was about the security measures taken to make the documentary
