[edit]Sexual assault charge
Hi I've been including a section in this article about a sexual assault trial which reads as follows:
In 2009, Dold was charged by an 18-year-old woman of sexual assault after letting himself in to her student residence at Queen's University [6]. After going to trial in April 2011 [7], Dold was acquitted of the charge in Kingston's Superior Court of Justice [8].
The section continues to be section blanked and I'd like to discuss this here. Is the sexual assault charge considered unworthy of inclusion on wikipedia? Is the number of details that I've included too much? I do believe that it warrants inclusion on this article to begin with, considering that it achieved significant local attention (at least as much attention as Dold's initial inclusion on wikipedia warrants by sourcing). Can we come to some consensus about what should be included, if anything at all? Please respond. Thank you. -Andrew —Preceding unsigned comment added by Achapman2009 (talk • contribs) 10:18, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with AndyTheGrump's response to your question on Wikipedia:Editor assistance/Requests. The information you are trying to add would be about 1/3 of the article. This one third of the article is about something that the court said the prosecution didn't prove he did it. There is definitely to much weight given to that incident.
