Notability

Imagine my surprise when this popped back up on my watch list. To me this doesn't show any evidence of notability and just being a 'bar in philly' doesn't really cut it. May I inquire as to why it was requested to be restored, Evrik? Perhaps if I'm made aware of any notability issues I can help to establish this article. Thanks. --ImmortalGoddezz 18:10, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Alright just wondering. When I proded it I looked through google news and didn't find anything right away that was any more than a brief reference but I can look again and see if there's anything more or something that I missed. --ImmortalGoddezz 19:01, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Why is this article in Wikipedia?

There are a million establishments all over the country that have been around a long time. Should they all be listed in the Wiki? It's not particularly notable. Is it everyone's belief that any mention at all in a newspaper warrants mention here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Etrangere (talkcontribs) 00:05, 21 September 2009

It has been deleted via prod before so obviously not everybody thinks it's notable, however some think it is (thus the restore). If you feel that it isn't notable take it through AfD... --ImGz (t/c) 00:12, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Again: Should everything with a mention in a newspaper be posted on the Wikipedia? Etrangere (talk) 07:59, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
