Move may have been inappropriate

[edit]

Or at least needs a different title, i.e. pluralized. The moved article was for the 2005 CN Rail Cheakamus River derailment ; there have been many others, and the distinction is those weren't under CN's ownership. I don't have time or wouldn't know where to dig for the info, but I know the Cheakamus Canyon has seen more than one derailment.Skookum1 (talk) 16:44, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your concerns are valid, Skookum, but posting this over at WP:CANBOARD sadly didn't result in anyone coming up with any info. Did you get any results over at WPTrains? However, I do note that Wikipedia:Naming conventions (events) states: "Article titles should not contain the year unless needed for disambiguation." Until such time as articles are created on the other derailments, I suspect this title is fine. However, it is good that you raised the issue, because keeping it at the new title is without prejudice to moving it back in the event additional information surfaces.
