Canyon

[edit]

I went to that school, know people that still go, and deal with people that have gone. I've never heard anybody refer to it as Canyon. Can we delete that?Somerset219 02:30, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Somerset219....good to catch you on here again. It's my perception that people usually refer to the school as CDO, however many of the athletic teams uniforms only say 'Canyon' and at some athletic events teams are merely referred to as 'Canyon Dorados'. I agree the use of 'Canyon', especially locally, is limited. Keeping it or deleting it I don't think would help or hinder the article. Mxpc05 01:07, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hey man, thanks for being so neutral to me, I feel like I'm coming across as a jerk. you're doing a great job with all your edits and I appreciate all your input. Somerset219 05:44, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable alumni

[edit]

Generally, unless the person has a Wikipedia article about them, they should not be on the Notable alumni list. I removed those who were redlinked or not linked at all. Simply having a citation is not sufficient, especially when many of the citations were personal pages. These do not establish notability. The article also suffers from a lot of weasel words ("CDO is well-known..." and point of view terms that will need to be addressed. --JonRidinger (talk) 14:09, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the dead links from this article. If anyone can find new sources to back up the material, then that would be great. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 03:09, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
