Scripps placement of competitors
[edit]First, does it make sense to note only the winner's Scripps placement when all the regional winners qualify for Scripps? There's no guarantee that the CanSpell winner will be the highest-placing Canadian Scripps finisher in the future.
The format of this article should also include the winning words ("otiosity" in 2005 and "dghaisa" in 2006).
2013 contest (if any)?
[edit]Does anyone have information about whether Canspell was held in 2013 and, if so, who the top finisher(s) was/were?

A list of the most commonly misspelled words in the competition.
Any thoughts?
I don't know about this one, as it seems as the words wouldn't be the same every time this competition occurs.Jakeable (talk) 01:31, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
It ended? What happened?
[edit]It's now in the article that the spelling bee happened annually from 2005 to 2012, then ended. Why? Surely there is some coverage that would document it being closed, and it would be relevant to report the stated reasons. The article also needs editing to put everything into past tense. --doncram 23:00, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
