Controversy — Microsoft
[edit]Update needed. Section says "King had struck a deal with Microsoft to automatically install/reinstall the game [with] ... Windows 10 Home/". Update: (1) CCSaga does not appear to be included w/Windows 10 any more, however there is a similar match-3 game included in MS Solitaire Collection under the name Microsoft Jewel; 2) in January 2022 Microsoft acquired Activision, the current owner of CCSaga, along with other popular games such as Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo and others. There is controversy over Microsoft's business model for XBox Game Pass driving user engagement. See e.g. Windows Central article. The acquisition of CCSaga by Activision should also be briefly noted in the article. As this is looking a bit complicated, and video game history is outside my area, I will leave the update for those more familiar with the field. - MS has not yet acquired Activision (and thus King) that is not likely to close until mid 2023. So this is all speculation beyond what we can do. Masem (t) 18:08, 3 October 2022 (UTC)

- Not done per WP:TRIVIA we need secondary sources to demonstrate that these pop culture references are appropriate to include. --Masem (t) 15:00, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
