POWER 25

[edit]

OK this has gone on long enough I know this is an encyclopedia but I know Candice Michelle is the first diva to be number 12 in Power 25 can we please add this. CandiceLOVER 01:25, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BIGCANDICEFAN, oops, I mean CandiceLOVER, to say that is an accomplishment is original research. What makes cracking the top 12 special anyway? - Deep Shadow 01:51, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Cant you just pu tin Accomplishments i will pu tit there now[reply]
Whatever and no I can't why can't you just add it under he personal life that shie is the first diva to be as high as 12 in Power 25. I would add it but someone is gonna take it off cause I added it that's how mean you all are. CANDICEMAN 20:20, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You know CANDICEMAN, CANDICEFAN, BIGCANDICEFAN, no offense or anything, but you kind of strike me as a psycho-stalker type person. Just saying...Myselfimmortal 14:42, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

but she really should add Candice placing at No.12 in the Power 25, i mean, shes higher than some very talented people who have been wrestling for years. This would be an excellent accomplishment cuz the Power 25 is about how well the people do on RAW and apparently, Candice is doing great! and once you think about it... she hasnt been pinnned in.... how long?-ChristoCracker 08:08, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Moves

[edit]

The Candywrapper she does on houseshows is an Unprettier. It wasn't a Bulldog. I don't know which one should be included.

The article says that she does a front dropkick, but the only kind of dropkick I've seen her do is a normal dropkick. With one leg over the other not a front dropkick, in which both feet are on the same level.

The article also says that she does a short arm clothesline, but the description of a short arm clothesline says that the attacking wrestler pulls the opponent and extends his other arm, thus delivering the clothesline. She hasn't done such a clothesline.

80.80.140.50 16:48, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

well she hasn't used the move again so the next time she uses it on live TV we'll se what it is. BIGCANDICEFAN —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.157.26.180 (talk) 00:38, August 21, 2007 (UTC)

I think we should refer "Candywrapper" as a Bulldog or Unprettier only for now, until we've established the proper move ChristoCracker 06:45, 25 August 2007 (UTC) Now let's discuss about the move set of Candice. The actual move set who appear right now (just four, apart from the finishers) is a DISGRACE at the wrestling career of Candice Michelle!! i mean just imagine that Candice herself look on her wiki page sees just some a little part from her move set...it such a shame for who wrote her "Wrestling Signature Moves" article.[reply]

So having said, let's start with the Finishing Moves

i don't agree with The Candywrapper which is a jumping inverted double underhook facebuster but i will

add that- some times it was a double chickenwing switched into a standing bulldog!

Now let's see the Signature Moves..the following moves are written right now, and i agree with them:

             - Candylicious
             - Tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown
             - Bridging northern lights suplex
             - Hurricanrana

I will add:

             - Diving crossbody
             - Go Daddy elbow
             - Sitout rear mat slam
             - Single leg running dropkick
             - Clothesline
             - Multiple pin variations:
               - Crucifix
               - Sunset flip
               - Inside cradle
               - Schoolgirl
               - a modified version of pin attempt with the feet used like a hook trapping
                 the shoulders of the opponent
             - Spear (this move used it at Survivor Series 2008) — Preceding unsigned comment added by GeoCristy90 (talkcontribs) 12:42, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unprettier

[edit]

Despite the fact she didnt do it live on RAW, it still would count as a signature due to the fact that she defeated both Melina and Jillian on house shows using that move -ChristoCracker 08:05, 26 August 2007 (UTC) p.s plz respond if u agree -ChristoCracker 08:05, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Candice's finisher is called the Candywrapper. The reason everyone keeps saying its the Unprettier is because that is wat former wwe superstar Christian called it when he used the inverted double underhook facebuster as his finishing move.I hope this little bit of info clears up everyones confusion on candice's finishing move the Candywrapper. Also when candice debuted the Candywrapper @ The Great American Bash it was a combination of the inverted double underhook facebuster and a standing bulldog. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SeanMorleyRoxs (talkcontribs) 03:16, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tarantula

[edit]

she also does the Tarantula on House Shows, i guess she converted her Candylicious into a Tarantula, heres proof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEDirkrq6EI&mode=related&search= —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChristoCracker (talkcontribs) 17:40, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

It doesn't matter what she uses at house shows if we used ever move she use at a house show then she would have like 12 things. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.150.61.141 (talk) 20:21, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

it sorta does matter what she does on House Shows. i mean, whats so high and mighty about watching it on TV? huh? as long as she does it. Because, ok this is an example, if there is a wrestler that wrestles on house shows but not on the programme, does that mean that person has no moves at all? it would still count, house show or not —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.74.9.6 (talk) 13:39, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds about right, lol -ChristoCracker 17:23, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of things are experimented at houseshows that aren't used on TV. A signature move are moves that are common moves performed by that wrestler. Therefore, the moves she uses on television or PPVs are the ones that should be considered a part of her trademark arsenal not houseshow matches because television and PPV's reach a larger audience. It wouldn't be a signature move if people didn't associate that move to the particular wrestler that does it. If she's done it a lot at houseshows than it should be included as a legitimate variation of her submission hold on the ropes but otherwise, doing it once doesn't really make it a legit part of her moveset. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.18.169 (talk) 06:10, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PICTURE

[edit]

Out of all of the pics in the world of Candice you can't find a better one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.150.31.223 (talk) 05:30, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

At least it's a photo, and it will do for now. Any photo is better than none. - Deep Shadow 09:13, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Was that a house show? i never remembered her wearing that outfit and talking to the audience before -ChristoCracker 17:22, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Probably. The guy who took most of the pictures for the WWE articles goes to house shows a lot. Nikki311 17:36, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's from Raw, April 30 in Nashville. This was during the kiss cam segment, but she also wrestled a tag match later that night. Sorry, it was the best one I had that showed a face, unless you want one of her completely from behind. Mshake3 01:14, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Mshake3, I noticed that you will be attending RAW on 24 September, 2007 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. That would be the perfect opportunity to snap a photo of Candice as I have no doubt she will be performing there, seeing as it's her hometown. It would be great if you could also take a photo of her holding the Women's Title too. - Deep Shadow 07:13, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll do what I can. (basically, I take pictures of everything). I am somewhat far back though (unique floor bleachers directly facing the stage), so we'll see. I'll probably be at No Mercy as well, and she might appear there as well. Mshake3 00:57, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When I saw the Wikipedia page of Candice, firstly i don't agree with the picture (i mean- are u serious ?!) from all the pictures of the lovely Candice that picture is so trivial. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GeoCristy90 (talkcontribs) 14:19, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Family Feud

[edit]

I don't think it should be placed under Personal Life. Rather, it should be under a kind of Media sub section or something similar, and maybe with other work she's done. 76.21.249.103 22:18, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What Is Love?

[edit]

Candice's theme music, isn't entitled "What Is Love" it's entitled "What Love Is".. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Akabuga (talkcontribs) 19:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not according to the source being used in the article. - Deep Shadow 19:30, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Candice herself states that it is "What is Love?" in her latest WWE blog (also the source used in the article). Do you have a better source? Nikki311 20:02, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
While we can't change the article without a source, I have to say they wouldn't be allowed to call the song "What is Love" because that would be copyright infringement. What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more. The Hybrid 20:15, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There are a few songs that share this name. See What Is Love. The only difference I see is the WWE track uses a question mark in its title. - Deep Shadow 20:29, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I must have misunderstood the laws then. Oh well, it wouldn't be the first time. Cheers, The Hybrid 20:36, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But in her song, it says "Lemme Show You What Love Is" and basically - it could've been a typo, but when searched the song is clearly "What Love Is" and not "What Is Love" because that song definitely, does not have those words, and clearly, it wouldn't make sense to title the song as if that way - If it clearly states "Let me show you what love is.." And around Youtube, that's the title, it's obvious WWE made a clear typo. Cheers, Akabuga.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Akabuga (talkcontribs) 22:33, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WWE > Youtube. Mshake3 03:42, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If it was a typo, it wouldn't have a question mark. Look at it this way; if the song is titled "What is Love?", the first line is in response to the question being asked. As Mshake3 said, WWE is a more reliable source of information than YouTube, where anyone can call something whatever they want. We've had a similar conversation before with a WikiTroll, which can be found here. - Deep Shadow 05:49, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have no problem with using YouTube for showing actually aired matches. But saying the comments of the users are reliable is lame. Mshake3 15:21, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But go on Scooter and Lavelle's MySpace page, and the title is "What Love Is" obviously, it could've been a typo and I'm pretty sure it is, because everybody entitles it "What Love Is" not, "What Is Love" and you guys ARE wrong. Trust me, I know what the song is entitled - And go on a Desiree Jackson MySpace, and it says "What Love Is".. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Akabuga (talkcontribs) 12:19, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
First, you don't need to create a new section to make a reply. Second, you are not calling us wrong, you are basically calling Candice Michelle wrong because we are going by what she herself has written. Why is it that the people who say we should trust them because they know better can only offer us MySpace or YouTube links? - Deep Shadow 12:46, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. See WP:V, WP:RS, WP:NOR. The Hybrid 15:27, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, don't know how to reply - Candice might've done a typo, WWE might've done a typo, Scooter and Lavelle's MySpace, the two whom remixed the song have it 'What Love Is' not 'What Is Love' and plus, WWE makes mistakes - Candice makes mistakes, but I'm pretty sure it's 'What Love Is' since in the song, it is said "Lemme Show You What Love Is" not, "Lemme Show You What Is Love".. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Akabuga (talkcontribs) 22:01, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To reply, quit hitting the plus sign at the top of the page. Just click the edit icon in the section title for this section, and type ~~~~ after your comment. Anyway, my response to what you just said is no original research. The Hybrid 22:05, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh my jesus there is original research! The song is not, "What Is Love" WWE must've made a typo, I should know because I have the Divas theme songs, and everywhere you search around Candice's song, it's titled "What Love Is" or "Lemme Show You What Love Is" and I'm a big Candice fan - Should know. --> Akabuga.

Please read Wikipedia:No original research. This is an official Wikipedia policy. Basically what you are saying is original research, which goes against the policy. We have had many different "biggest fans" change the name of Candice's song numerous times. The most popular titles were "What Love Is", "Let Me Show You" and "All Eyes On Me". All of them have said the same things you are saying too (that they should know because they are a big Candice fan). - Deep Shadow 21:10, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter how big of a fan you are. Basically, if you don't have an official source for her song being called What Love Is, then you have no ground to stand on as far as the actual text in the article is concerned. The name of the song is sourced, so it will stay in the article because Wikipedia policy says is does. End of discussion. Find a source, or nothing will change. The Hybrid 22:03, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, people only called it "What Love Is" or "Lemme Show You What Love Is" BEFORE Candice announced her tracks title. Everyone else did not know, and there is no source about it being called What Love Is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.74.9.8 (talk) 18:12, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Candywrapper

[edit]

I've seen her do it four times an an Unprettier and only once as a Bulldog. On Raw she beat Jillian with the Unprettier and this week on Heat she beat Melina with it too. And she has done it on house shows. The one at the GAB was just a one time move. 80.80.140.50 07:48, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What's your point? Speed_CG 9:41, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
I think his point is, it should just have the Unprettier not the Bulldog, I agree. Akabuga —Preceding unsigned comment added by Akabuga (talkcontribs) 20:49, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I bet Candice tried to do an Unprettier on Melina at the GAB, but wasnt in the right position, so changed it, OR maybe she wasnt planning to use the Candywrapper at all and Jerry just read his script falsly -91.74.9.8 11:24, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure it was originally a modified Standing Bulldog, but saw how time-consuming/lame it was so decided instead to do the Unprettier. Miztahrogers 20:15, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

She was going to do the Unprettier on Melina at the GAB but she didn't do it right. You can tell by the way she set her up. Then, due to the fact of probably just learning it, she did the bulldog instead. Just my two cents. But I think since she has only used the move once it should be deleted. The one she'll do the majority of the time should be there instead! :) Candciesfan —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.148.160.130 (talk) 17:40, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is all speculation. The fact is that at The Great American Bash, after the bulldog variation was performed, it was immediately given the name "Candywrapper". That makes it notable. If she never does this version of the move again, it should still stay because it was officially named. - Deep Shadow 18:00, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Candciesfan -ChristoCracker 17:48, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well what Candicefan proposed is still speculation, and it is against Wikipedia policy to add speculation to an encyclopedia article. If you can add a reliable source that confirms that she did it wrong, then by all means...add it. Until then, please do not. Nikki311 18:05, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

—Preceding unsigned comment added by SeanMorleyRoxs (talkcontribs) 03:21, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Booked?

[edit]

Ive recently noticed people have been dubbing Candice's wins as a "booking", i havent noticed this in other articles other than Melina and Lita's, which both say they were booked to give the title to Candice and was defeated by Candice respectivly, now im starting to think whoever replaced the article with those words is implying that Candice is still not suitable for WWE and she is inexperienced. That happens to be a bias statement and Wikipedia is not bias. Now, i dont know what the solution is, but whoever added those words should find one. -91.74.9.108 (talk) 06:55, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is no bias. The editors who worded the article in such a manner did so to improve the page, not to demean Candice. Articles based on fiction have to be written in a tone that makes it 100% clear to the reader that the events are part of a script. So the term "booked" is perfectly acceptable, as it explains that the match result was predetermined. This article, along with many others, could not have achieved or maintained good article status if it wasn't taken "out of universe" (see Shelton Benjamin's GA review for a good example on this matter). As for wanting a solution, there needs to be a problem, and I don't see a problem. - Deep Shadow 11:04, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Candice heel turn

[edit]

Candice Michelle wrestled as a heel in a singles match with Melina at last night's Raw/ECW house show in Madison, Wisconsin. During the match, Candice faked an injury, to the point that a referee called for medical assistance from the back. When Melina tried to check on her, Candice pulled a fast one and rolled her up for the win, but Melina kicked out. Melina finished off Candice with her signature split kick for the win. Candice played a heel throughout the match, even as she was heading to the back. Candice also appeared at an autograph signing over the weekend with a brand new look. Sidelined with injuries & release (2008–2009) citation

[edit]

the citation says it was accessed on June 18th, but article says she was released June 19th...doesn't seem to add up...should we re-retrieve the article and put that date down instead? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supersox (talkcontribs) 03:09, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was probably a typo by the writer. Consider it re-retrieved and updated as necessary.Caben42 (talk) 01:53, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Siblinghood

[edit]

Aside from without mentioning who her parents are, does she have any brothers, sisters, or is she an only child? :/ Funny how such details about her family are lacked to be regarded as a good article. >_< 118.107.246.9 (talk) 16:40, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Candice Michelle

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Candice Michelle's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 01:42, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WWE return?

[edit]

I don't think the part about her winning the 24/7 title should be included in the header. Obviously its notable for the article itself, but this is implying she has returned to the WWE or wrestling in general when that is not the case ILoveAlanisMorissette (talk) 04:46, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
