Confusion in one Independent article title

The 2002 Louise Jury article should have said "Royal Philharmonic" rather than "London Philharmonic" in the title, to be sure. DJRafe (talk) 03:22, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion of "the First Church of Christ, Scientist"

While it was "the First Church of Christ, Scientist", it wasn't the FIRST "First Church of Christ, Scientist". That was over in Boston and all of the further churches can take the name "First Church of Christ, Scientist" or "Second Church of Christ, Scientist" but not The (capital T) First Church of Christ, Scientist. Unless you know this, you'd think this was THE first Church of Christ, Scientist in the world, as I did when I read it (which puzzled me as I'd heard of the church).

Goodness knows how you'd make that clear in the text without making it sound pedantic though. Escottf (talk) 00:04, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Changed to read: Previously, the building was a Christian Science church (First Church of Christ, Scientist, London) completed in 1907, etc. to conform to proper Christian Science nomenclature. clariosophic (talk) 02:13, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Architecture

The article doesn't say very much about the building. Is the architect the same Robert Chisholm who was the architect for the Napier Museum in Kerala, India? Headhitter (talk) 10:14, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
