The words used from the SOAS Obituary have now been rewritten, in order to avoid any copy of the source which was referenced. Bruce Wannell was a public figure and it is in the interests of the public to have the knowledge of his life and works. He is already referred to in other pages as a translator.

The draft has now been rewritten. It is in the public interest to add Bruce Wannell to Wikipedia, he was a public figure, broad ranging translator and well known as a traveller in the Middle East and Central Asia.
