I put in the wikisource logo, link, but unfortunately, we still need an article on Mr. Bowditch, even as his book is in wikisource. HELP PLEASE. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 00:52, 24 October 2008 (UTC) Stan
When did George Blunt die?
[edit]In the history section, near the end of the second paragraph, it mention that George Blunt died in 1878, but the next paragraph below said George Blunt died in 1889.
Actually, both paragraphs seems to be written by different people and repeat some elements.
Can the Date of George Blunt death be corrected and perhaps merge the two paragraphs together, eliminating repetitions?

[edit]In the Shirley Temple movie Captain January, the title character, an old sailing man who keeps a lighthouse, rebukes a nosy social worker with "There ain't no better reading in the world than The Bible and Bowditch. They both learn you to steer a straight course." - knoodelhed (talk) 22:43, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
