Deletion of this Page
[edit]Even though I wrote the article, I can see why you think it should be deleted. I do want to note that this article links up to another Wikipedia article, and provides a general idea of what the company is. I am not merely trying to spam; this is not my company and I am just trying to provide information. This article is not only an advertisement, and does not make a case on why Blue Sky is "better" than other soda companies. That is the primary reason why this article is not blatant advertising. In addition, this article could be used to remove the long list of different Blue Sky sodas on the Hansen Beverage Company article that can be found on the Blue Sky Company Article. As you can see, there is a list of products approx. 45 items long on the Hansen Beverage Company article. Instead of deleting this article, use it to replace the long list of Blue Sky products on Hansen Beverage Company with an internal link to this article. Oman9978 00:06, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Please Don't
[edit]I needed this information to determine if the cola has caffeine. This is good, quick, well organized info on both their products and the company. This is what the encyclopedia is all about. Harriska2 (talk) 18:19, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Definition of TRUVIA as a natural sweetener
[edit]I am concerned about the claim in this article as well as the label on Blue Sky "free" sodas that Truvia is a natural sweetener. There are too many questions surrounding the properties, side effects and precise source of the main ingredient in Truvia known as erythritol. See this link for more info: http://freedomandlinux.wordpress.com/2010/03/31/the-truvia-deception/ Etls1 (talk) 21:17, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]I have started to add on secondary sources to make sure this page complies with the Wikipedia notability guideline. Most of the sources that contain information other than the different product lines of Blue Sky have a secondary source added onto it in addition to a primary source. I would think (purely from my own shopping experiences in multiple grocery stores and food co-ops in Austin, TX, where one would expect to have a big market for natural products) that Blue Sky is the biggest brand in natural sodas, and to my knowledge they're the only brand of organic soda (though that's probably not true, but I've never seen another...) To me that makes them notable. BobbyPeru 01:37, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
product distinction?
[edit]I'm surprised that Blue Sky is the same corporation as Hansen's, since the products are so similar. Can someone clarify the differences, if and when Blue Sky was acquired, and how it's a "major" company? Potatoswatter (talk) 05:32, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
FYI: Blue Sky Juice Company was started in Santa Fe by a local healer named Robert Black. The original products were fresh squeezed juices delivered to local grocers and restaurants throughout the Santa Fe area. As his company and service area expanded, Robert envisioned starting a natural soda company, which grew exponentially as his products were high quality and very successful. I was actually surprised to hear that he was no longer involved. Back east where I am living now there are dozens of natural and organic sodas, many quite distinctive, but Blue Sky remains among the best. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.152.118.139 (talk) 02:05, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
