Episode 16

[edit]

Futon Critic says the episode is called “Bad Blood”, not “The Gray Areas”. Go off what the source says! 2600:1003:B135:988E:F412:6AB5:B397:5BA3 (talk) 12:21, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's now listed as The Gray Areas in various places including IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and particularly various TV Providers like DirecTV and Fubo:https://www.fubo.tv/welcome/program/EP012801050365/the-gray-areas https://www.directv.com/guide/tv-shows/Blue-Bloods-439d34cf-4641-38f6-22bb-84c5f91900c1 newsjunkie (talk) 19:13, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Final episode

[edit]

According to the previews at the end of the penultimate episode, it looks like the mayor (Dylan Walsh) is shot by an assassin. Oddly enough, that's how it went for Walsh in the last episode of Unforgettable too. It will be interesting to see if any commentators pick up on this coincidence. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots08:21, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at the spoilers circulating around the Internet carefully, you would see that that the mayor is not the only victim in the episode (and also not the one with the worst fate). newsjunkie (talk) 11:12, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Could be, though I don't trust internet rumors. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots01:03, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's pretty well confirmed at this point and clearly being foreshadowed in the episodes leading up, not to mention he is visible in images/footage from the funeral. newsjunkie (talk) 05:45, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Episode summaries

[edit]

Please stop removing pertinent information from episode summaries. This work was carefully done to avoid conflict with official descriptions of the episodes as released by CBS. This information is not harmful to the article, so there is no reason to remove it at all. 50.232.92.83 (talk) 11:42, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the short "summaries" are plagiarized from CBS! 50.232.92.83 (talk) 12:48, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please provide some evidence of plagiarism? Barry Wom (talk) 13:22, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
From CBS & Futon Critic...
"Danny and his nephew Joe Hill (Will Hochman) investigate the homicide of a delivery driver who may have been connected to an illegal narcotics ring in the city. Also, Eddie is determined to save the job of a probationary police officer who may be fired for responding to a crime; Frank faces a hard decision when he discovers Gormley is non-compliant with NYPD residency requirements; and Erin clashes with her boss, D.A. Crawford, when a seemingly rehabilitated criminal from an old case becomes the subject of an armed robbery investigation."
That was what was entered as the episode summary on the article, word-for-word. 50.232.92.83 (talk) 13:29, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That summary doesn't appear to still be present. Are there any existing problematic summaries in the article? Barry Wom (talk) 13:51, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Check the article's edit history, it was there before. All these summaries are "too long" according to others, so they should all be blanked at this point. 50.232.92.83 (talk) 13:57, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you're quite correct, the summaries were copied verbatim.
All these summaries are "too long" according to others, so they should all be blanked at this point.
The recommended upper word count is 200 so I've restored the plot summaries which don't break this limit. Barry Wom (talk) 14:23, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, episode summaries break the Wikipedia rule regarding spoilers. That's another reason why they should be completely removed. 50.232.92.83 (talk) 14:29, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What rule would that be? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots14:31, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Refer to Wikipedia:Spoiler 50.232.92.83 (talk) 14:42, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
...which specifically states that Wikipedia does not avoid spoilers? Barry Wom (talk) 14:50, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, some episodes have summaries and some do not. We need to keep it consistent across the board; if some are to be removed, then all of them need to as well. 50.232.92.83 (talk) 14:59, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's not even close to a valid argument. Barry Wom (talk) 15:13, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nor is it a rule, as far as I know. If a summary is missing or inadequate, it could be improved. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots01:04, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
