Article creation

[edit]

Big thanks to EnTerr for creating this article, I've been a visitor here a few times already, and was surprised at the redirection. The two are not synonymous.

Needs stub classification for the time being.

the Blowing agent and Foaming agent entries should be tailored to fit one another, as 'Foaming Agent' now tries to encompass 'Blowing Agent' - which should either be pursued by making a 'blowing agent' headline in 'foaming agent' entry or by keeping the articles separated as is.

Also, done small fixes to the original article.

The informations here are largely correct, i will add some sources when possible.

--83.6.113.156 (talk) 15:18, 25 September 2009 (UTC) A type of 'blowing agent' is used in the creation of intumescent coatings and fillers, used for fire protection purposes, in building construction. In the presence of heat they expand (become more cellular and insulative) and tend to create a char at their hot surface. Tremco, 3M and STI are some suppliers of such intumescents. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.102.251.234 (talk) 13:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Second last paragraph

[edit]

I was fixing some grammar problems (capital letters, apostrophes in plural words etc.) in this article when I found that the second last paragraph was some seemingly random information bundled together. Can somebody fix it? I can't make any sense of it. Prehistoricmanthe2nd (talk) 21:00, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
