Please correct "Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is an Indian state-owned telecommunicatious.Who will watch this will be a kutta." in the very first sentence. It is possible vandalism. Please correct this to "Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is an Indian state-owned telecommunicatious." That is, remove the "Who will watch this will be a kutta." sentence. 117.203.182.77 (talk) 19:44, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Closure

[edit]

There is an editorial conflict in the section. Some editors wanted to include a fragment how inefficient the company is. While the others wanted to state that the Government decided to close the company. Both fragments are sourced and quite compatible so I have merged them together. Please do not remove any without discussing it first. I have my liberty to change "decided to close" into "consider to close": the Company is not closed yet, right?

I personally still do not like the part about rumors to close. We have the policy WP:CBALL that we do not cover unverifiable speculations or presumptions, but if you think that those rumors are notable, then it is your decision. Alex Bakharev (talk) 22:09, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Loss making entity

[edit]

It is surprising to see that despite many government revival plans, BSNL has been a loss-making enterprise for years now. This fact is missing, so either this page is being whitewashed by the company PR itself or sock puppets. This needs to be investigated. For now I have added two lines, lets see.. "In 2022, BSNL reported a loss of Rs 57,671 crore since inception.[1]In the the financial year 2022-23 it has a loss of Rs 6,662 crore. [2]" --Ekabhishektalk 17:46, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
