Youngest Reserve Team Player

[edit]

I have removed this quote as there is no way that The Guardian can verify this information. Arsenal's reserve team has been playing competitive games since 1895. There are many reserve team players whose names are not known and many more whose date of birth is not known. Afobe was 16 years and 4 days when he made his reserve team debut. Richie Powling played 17 reserve team games during the 1971-72 season when he was 15 - this is verifiable from the Arsenal handbook for that season. Denis Compton was two months short of 16 when he made his London Mid-week League debut. David O'Leary was under 16 when he made his reserve team debut. Tony Adams made his reserve team debut on 28 August 1982, 43 days before his 16th birthday.Goonerak (talk) 11:09, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Has anyone got a better one? On this his face is completely indecipherable.

I agree: on his Bournemouth photo (current) the text on his shirt, for example, is hard to read. Toohak113 (talk) 14:58, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
