I have just uploaded to Commons a photo of Bebelplatz looking south (Image:Bebelplatz looking South.JPG) that could be adequate for this article Quid pro quo 22:17, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This pages refers to Micha Ullman's Empty Library but an English language page for this memorial does not exist. The page was created. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CainieB (talkcontribs) 20:31, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

The opening paragraph says that it was formerly called Opernplatz, but gives no dates; the body of the article says that it was called Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Platz from 1911 to 1947. Most articles on the internet describe the Nazi book burning as taking placed at the Opernplatz. Was Kaiser-Franz-etc its official name, and Opernplatz a nickname? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 20:17, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
