Soviet Casualties
[edit]According to many sources, 9th Company had lost 6 men (their names are given in the table). If there are any doubts about it, write them right here. Fastboy (talk) 18:59, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
I tagged this, but I don't want this deleted. --HanzoHattori 14:23, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Soviet soldier with the rank of Gefreiter?
[edit]Fedotov Andrey Alexandrovich is listed with the rank of 'Gefreiter', a German military ranking similar to corporal. Could someone with knowledge of the Soviet armed forces please correct this if necessary. (I do believe the Red Army used a similar rank called 'Efreitor', but I take it that the use of Gefreiter here is a joke - correct me if I'm wrong).1812ahill (talk) 02:29, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Haqqani's greatest defeat?
[edit]I mean he still managed to recover his siege lines and renew his offensives after and thus making Op. Magistral strategically obselete. And had that one tank not malfunctioned at Urgun, his siege there would have been successful. And he did manage to slow down tank movement at Mavara. And allowed for thousands of Mujahideen villagers to escape there as well. But Hill 3234? His worse defeat. Hundreds lost, and no ground taken. His strategic objectives failed. From a buffs view, Haqqani's worse defeat. Four Leaf Paladin (talk) 21:07, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
