erpetosuchids and crocodylomorphs?

[edit]

Why is Bathyotica still treated as being erpetosuchids and crocodylomorphs? Every recent review of erpetosuchids suggests they are far removed from crocodylomorphs, possibly even the most basal crocodile-line archosaurs. At best, Bathyotica is probably roughly equivalent to Crurotarsi/Pseudosuchia in most trees. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.182.165.14 (talk) 14:15, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
