Ball Diamond → Ball Diamond (stadium) – Even with the hat note, this could easily be confused with the general term Ball diamond. The difference right now is the lowercase vs. uppercase "D" in Diamond. Corky Buzz by the Hornet's Nest 19:01, 18 November 2017 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 11:33, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose as unnecessary overprecision. The hatnote is more than sufficient, especially since there's no article called ball diamond and the term is not even especially common ("baseball diamond" is the usual expression). Station1 (talk) 07:38, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. Ball Diamond is a proper name. Only a <insert term of disparagement here> would confuse a proper name with a generic term. The generic term isn't that common, as it gets negligible page views. This train of thought would lead to moving pages like Illinois Field because that could mean "some random field of grass in the state of Illinois". wbm1058 (talk) 00:01, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
- There's a Hope Diamond, an Eagle Diamond and a Pumpkin Diamond, but there's not yet a notable diamond named Ball. wbm1058 (talk) 00:08, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
