Title

[edit]

Roger, do you mind if we move the page to Baha al-Din ibn Shaddad (or Baha ad-Din ibn Shaddad)? It seems more appropriate to avoid the macrons in a title; we can include them in the intro the article, of course. Also, "ibn" is usually lower case in transliterated names. (al- or ad- doesn't really matter, though.) Adam Bishop (talk) 03:00, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, not at all. I knocked this out quickly so that we had something on him and meant to fine tune at leisure. We do need redirects from Ibn Shaddad and Baha al-Din though. Anyway, over to you ... --ROGER DAVIES talk 04:16, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Redirects are already in place! :) Adam Bishop (talk) 04:24, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So they are :) --ROGER DAVIES talk 04:53, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Though the Ibn Shaddad redirects to someone else. I'll fix it. --ROGER DAVIES talk 05:02, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Baha ad-Din

[edit]

Is this definitely an honorific title? It could just be his name?--Aa2-2004 (talk) 11:53, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No that's definitely an honorific. His actual name is Yusuf. Adam Bishop (talk) 09:24, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
