Badzhgard
[edit]I've never come across this name or spelling. I don't think it's very common in Bashkir or Russian, but I'm very certain it is not common at all in English. Bashkurdistan is possible, but typically it is Bashkortostan or Bashkiria if you're talking about the historical region. 2001:1C02:1501:4200:358E:A211:C297:49A2 (talk) 12:44, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- I just added a helpful link at the top of this article, so that people can easily navigate to other meanings of Bashkiria. In the summary I said:
- 'I really do not understand why this article is titled Badzhgard. It is an old name of only 1 southern Bashkir tribe.. the original user might be influenced by the Magyar theory?'
- I decided to check the history of the page and of course... the original user is called user:Magyar from Ural. I just want to say that the 'Magyar/Hungarian theory' about the origins of the Bashkirs is not widely accepted at all. That means the title of this page is not based on scientific consensus. 2001:1C02:1501:4200:DC61:94E4:F700:8CCC (talk) 15:41, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
