Deleted material

[edit]

I don't think anyone would restore this, but just noting this for future reference: the content I deleted here (specifically the "Reading the walls" and "Excavations" sections) was copied or very closely paraphrased from a couple of information boards at Bab Zuweila itself. (I discovered this after the edit, while reviewing some of my own photos of the site.) This could be a copyright violation, so please do not restore this content. Moving to "Bab Zuwayla"

[edit]

I'm moving the page from "Bab Zuweila" to "Bab Zuwayla". This is easily the most common rendition in reliable sources (following conventional romanisation of Arabic). Ngram suggests the same thing: [1]. Much of the article and many other Wikiproject sites already use this spelling. I don't think this will be controversial, so I'll skip the WP:RM unless someone objects, leaving a note here instead. R Prazeres (talk) 07:12, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
