How to acknowledge the significance of Evie gamplay
[edit]Currently the article reads like this: It will also be the first main entry in the series to feature a playable female protagonist, though the PlayStation exclusive game Assassin's Creed Liberation, which is not a part of the main series, was the first Assassin's Creed game overall to feature a female protagonist.
Before changing it in the article, lets discuss it here. I don't believe the above sentence is inaccurate. But let's discuss — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmaynardjr (talk • contribs) 20:56, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

LGBT Character
[edit]This IGN article was listed as a comment when this article (AC Syndicate) was added to the category LGBT-related video games. I'm not sure whether its inclusion in the category is warranted: the article states that a character in the game is trans, but I don't believe that that makes the game "LGBT-related." That category's description is written as, "Video games that feature LGBT characters as part of the plot." To quote directly from the article, "...this character is a trans man who acts as a supporting character and quest giver for the player. The exact nature of their connection to the story and what role they play in it remains unclear." If we're talking about a character who is in the game but is not related to the plot of the game (i.e. it would be possible to play through the game and never make contact with this character), I don't believe that justifies adding this game to that category. Thoughts? Rmaynardjr (talk) 18:40, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
- I definitely agree with you, read http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Writing_about_fiction#Categories. Just because there are lgbt characters, doesn't mean the category should be added unless 1. reliable sources are making a big deal about it, and 2. They have a significant role in the plot. 66.25.246.226 (talk) 03:56, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
Crawford Starrick
[edit]Was he a real person like other enemies in the franchise like rodrigo borgia, or is he ficitional? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.96.180.251 (talk) 16:57, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
I would have thought he is a fictional character as Google does not show any information about him. Ijustwannabeawinner (talk) 10:02, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed Syndicate → Assassin's Creed: Syndicate – Every website name it with the two points.--37.236.179.187 (talk) 10:46, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose: This is not true. Most sources do not have the colon. AdrianGamer (talk) 12:27, 11 September 2016 (UTC)

- Oppose per above. Just looking at the titles of the references used in the article, there are 39 instances of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" and 10 instances of "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate". —DangerousJXD (talk) 21:12, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose as neither the previous titles have colons. MisterShiney ✉ 21:39, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- Support per MOS:TITLE. Since the RS that write about the game treat it inconsistently, and since the game's cover clearly treats "Syndicate" as distinct subtitle, not just a third word in a unitary title, follow the MOS:TITLE prescribed usage, which is a colon-space separating the title from the subtitle. This is a case like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and is not a case like Star Trek Into Darkness in which the title was intentionally presented as a phrase. — SMcCandlish ☺ ☏ ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 01:15, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
- That is not entirely correct. The game is Assassin's Creed Syndicate, no colon. Press release/most secondary reliable sources treat it like this as well. The Star Trek comparison is not a good example, and the case in Syndicate is very different from The Wrath of Khan. It is more like Star Trek Beyond. You won't call the new Star Trek film Star Trek: Beyond, right? The colon is not needed, and we don't need to force a colon into the title. AdrianGamer (talk) 09:37, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose per all above. JAGUAR 20:59, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
