Is it true that sometimes Argentines are called "Argies" or "Argentineans"? If that is the case, is that in the article or it need be here? ULIFOX 3XX (talk) 04:28, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The first one is a British pejorative. The second is an archaic British spelling from the turn of the 20th Century. Should they be in? I don't think so. That would amount to insults for the first one, and British bias for the second one, then you would have to put the same treatment to all national articles on any nation, (let's not talk about what the Americans used to call Polish people, for example). The first one, no, I said that because I don't know if it is currently used in any other way, but the second one (Argentineans) is used today, perhaps not to a greater extent but yes, also like Argentinean, it's not that they stopped being used, they are still used today.
